A few days can go by so fast. Mak got moved into USI last week. Mikah turned 12. Mak had her 1st day of college classes today. So proud of her. She even got a 1st day of school pics and one with her roommates as well. And Mikah attended 7th/8th grade VB game as a middle school kid watching her friends play. Have a great week Mak 👊😘

Great Lakes Softball Nationals!
So proud of this team. We started our week on Tuesday in the heat finishing up Friday playing 4 games in the heat. They went 7-2 overall!

We finally beat Lady Dukes Chandler/Lamar 4-2 after not beating them all season. Winning that game put us in the Championship. We played a 7 inning game beating KB Eagles 4-0. Then in the what if game we lost 4-1 vs KB Eagles. Finishing 2nd place is still amazing.

I took a year off of coaching and this was my 1st year back. I was torn at first but was so glad I stepped in to help coach Eric, Chad & Ryan. I’m not even sure we won a championship tbh. Sure that is great but our goal was to challenge these girls playing in 11A, 12B and playing up vs older teams.

We won 55 games which is wild and 22 of them were by only 1-2 runs. 10 of our losses were also by 1-2 runs.
These girls worked so hard all season and defense was always our biggest focus at practices.

So much ahead for this team and it will be fun to watch. Want to thank coach Eric for asking me to help coach this season.

I want to thank Holli & Brad for the support the last 3 years. They brought Mak’s team over from Primetime and Mikah’s team over from Bulldogs Showcase. The Dreams organization is amazing and if you are looking for a great opportunity they have teams you could look to join or potentially take your team to the Dreams.

We will be in Evansville this weekend soaking up every last minute of Mak’s travel ball career along with some of her amazing teammates & best friends!
