A few months ago @_noah.jm asked me if I’d be interested in directing a music video for the new @bliss.okc single, “Static Ring”. I told him I’d be more than happy, just bring me a concept. After spending two months workshopping the style and shots that you see in the end product, the entire video was shot in one day from 5am-3pm (with a half-day of pickup haha).

Working with Noah, @coop.of.anderson and @ethanhunta on this was an incredible experience and I can’t wait to see what Bliss does next. I’m super grateful for these guys.

Shooting with everyone cast in this video was amazing, @abbyeweis @mikutiekins @abhillsucks @cash.13_ @dakotadunn__ @makingitpatrick @celebdeath @macleonard_182 @_green2me @mybloodyvtg … thank you all for your time.

Last but absolutely never least, my homie @ntwashere took these incredible photos of the production + the band’s new imagery for the single.

Thank you all, too, for the kind words about the video and how it turned out. I’m incredibly proud of the end result and hope to slowly inch my way back into doing more video projects here and there. Directing, shooting, and editing this all by myself was a great exercise that I really enjoyed :)

Well I just got my taxes done so I finally have the mental bandwidth to make a little post. Just got off the road with the incredible @jordananye. It was so great seeing new places and plunging into the depths of the middle of nowhere in the process. Very excited to be back in New York for a bit. I have a few recording projects I’m currently piecing together that I’m super excited about and few fun shows coming up in the next couple months. More TBA

Fanwave Artist Showcase ⚡️

First and foremost, I’d like to thank and honor the name of Tanner. Because of him, Late Night Messages got to be part of a fun night filled with burst eardrums, unbelievably cool people, and a weird offer from a stranger. All in all, 10 out of 10 😭
