It’s true … if you are fortunate enough to live after cancer, you may start seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. Maybe even heart-shaped ones like these. 💗💗

Not because life is perfect or the hard things disappear. But because you know (in a way you sometimes wish you didn’t) that none of this is guaranteed.

Cancer changes your relationship with time - at least it did for me. You stop taking the ordinary for granted, be it a morning coffee, a sunset, a conversation, a laugh, another birthday. 🎂

You realize how much we stress about things that, in the grand scheme of it all, simply don’t matter.

Today, I’m especially grateful for thousands coming together to honor the survivors and thrivers, those still fighting, and those we’ve lost. 🪽

Grateful for the @americancancersociety @makingstridessd and every company, volunteer, donor and human supporting the work so fewer people hear the words, ‘You have cancer’ and more people get more time. More birthdays, sunsets … more moments with the people they love.

Because after cancer, many realize those moments were never ordinary … they were the magic all along.

And grateful to have the opportunity for our company @crowepr to partner with @makingstridessd and capture powerful moments and smiling faces on camera today. 📸

💓 Service Point Opportunity

Help assist the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walking event in taking down decorations and cleaning up. This requires a short time-commitment and is super easy to earn a service point towards active membership! In order to participate, make sure you sign up through the Google form located in the Linktree and through the ACS website.
