October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗 The Canisius dance team showed their support at the 2026 Making Strides Walk, powered by the American Cancer Society, cheering on survivors, honoring fighters, and coming together to support the community.

Behind every pink ribbon is a story. A fighter. A survivor. A loved one we wish was still here.

At the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach, thousands came together for something bigger than ourselves.

Some walked in celebration.
Some walked in remembrance.
Some walked for someone still fighting.

But everyone walked with PURPOSE.

Seeing families, survivors, volunteers, and supporters come together was a powerful reminder of what community is all about.

It’s not just about showing up when things are easy. It’s about standing together when it matters most.

We walk for hope. We walk for strength. We walk for a future without breast cancer.
