Well… the red era lasted about 5 minutes. 😂❤️ And apparently we weren’t easing into darker either. We went ALL IN. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Dear Lord, the things we do for our daughters. As her mom AND hairstylist, I already know how this story is probably going to end… “Mom, I think I wanna be blonde again.” 🙄
But sometimes you just gotta let them live, try all the things, and see it for themselves.
For now… welcome to the dark side, baby girl. 🖤
Stay tuned, because I have a feeling this hair journey is far from over. 🤔 ps… and she isn’t even going through a break up! 😂

Public Service Announcement: be on the look out for a spunky, fierce, beautiful young lady named Makiah. Yes, she DOES bite. Tends to make questionable decisions but has a lot of love in her heart! Happy Birthday baby girl! It’s been a wild 20 years. I wish you the world! Love - Dad

Massanutten Mountain 100 … 4th round. I have increased my odds and am now 50/50 with you 🙏 @massanuttenmtntrail100 for starters … you are a FIRST CLASS organization and put on an absolute white glove show. All the way from the beginning training runs. In my eyes, you are the Gold Standard of ultras!

What an incredibly epic race. So very grateful to A. Toe the line B. Have an absolutely incredible crew C. Buckle #2

Make no mistake … this is an extremely hard fought, bare knuckle brawl, no holds barred event. I absolutely love that it requires EVERYTHING I have + more! From the bottom of my heart, thank you @bbrazier5 @makk.correa @becca_vela @cash1mney @gabrielmclevain24 for your sacrifices this weekend. Without a doubt, I would not have been able to cross the finish line without you! @hopkinsanity we’re racing or building! #getsome
“The battle is the Lord’s.” 🙏 for your grace and strength!

Post 1 …
I’ve been completely fascinated with this idea of running 100 miles in the mountains. And let me tell you, living in Virginia Beach makes that fascination seem like a wild far out dream … and it was for me for a long time … until it became a reality.

I can’t begin to tell you or effectively describe how much pain, struggle, blood, tears, doubt, and sheer hard work it’s taken to get here …
