👻🎃 A frighteningly good time at The MAKRS Society’s Bull City BOOs Fest this past weekend!

Spooky vibes, local vendors, and Halloween fun at Durham Central Park! 🖤🕸️

My favorite moments? Watching the witches dance 🧙‍♀️✨, finding cute cat toys for my kitties 🐈‍⬛🐾, and of course, sipping on my Prosecco! 🥂🍾

🎃 Have you been to @makrs Bull City BOOs Fest?

One of the highlights of my weekend? 🎃👻 BOO FEST in Durham! S/o to @makrs for hosting this!

Took the kiddos on another family adventure, and they had an absolute BLAST rocking their Halloween pajamas! 🧡🖤 Nothing better than making these fun little memories with them!

If you missed it this year, definitely put Boo Fest on your radar for next year! 👀 There was SO much to do for the whole family:

🎭 Costume contests
🐍 Reptile shows
🎶 A DJ, dancing & tons of entertainment
🎨 Arts & crafts for the kiddos
🍹 Drinks for the grown folks
🌮 A whole lineup of food trucks!

Basically, a little something for EVERYONE! 🙌🏽 Are you not entertained?!?! 🎃

📌 Save this for next year’s family-friendly Halloween plans!

Would you take your kiddos to an event like this? 👻👇🏽

Fall market season has been in full swing and I am lovin it! Makrs’ BOOs Fest over the weekend was suuuuch a hit and I already can’t wait to do it again next year. Spooky season is the best!

I’m so grateful for all of the support you guys have shown me as I’ve navigated my first year of markets! 💛 It’s been such a fun dream to chase after and make into a reality. I’m constantly learning as I go and really enjoy connecting with the people who shop at my little booth 😊

Check back later this week for the schedule of markets I have lined up to participate in during November and December! Can you believe we are already entering the holiday season so soon?!

We had a rollercoaster weekend - a chill pop-up, to a slow Friday night, to cold / rainy Saturday Farmers Market ending with a fun Diwali event, which cured it all … thank you to everyone who came out, specially on Saturday morning, and to everyone who was curious to try our breads 🙌 #sourdough #farmersmarket #durham #morrisville #diwali

We had the BEST time at the 5th annual Bull City Boos Fest this past weekend! 🧡🍂

There was SO much to see and do, and we barely scratched the surface of everything this event had to offer!

From shopping local vendors and trick-or-treating with the kids to sipping prosecco for the moms, there really was something for everyone!

🎨 Face painting + slime in the kids zone
🎶 Music, live performances, and separate kid and adult costume contests
🍬 Trick-or-treating at each vendor for the littles
🛍️ lots of amazing local vendors
🥂 Prosecco, beer, and tons of options for food trucks
🎃 And SO much more!

We didn’t even capture all the fun because there was just THAT much happening! 😂 One thing we know for sure? We’re already looking forward to year six! 🧡👏🏼

📍 NC families, if you’re looking for fun things to do locally, THIS is your sign to follow @makrs! They put on amazing events that bring our community together + support local...and you don’t want to be the one seeing everyone else’s recap after it’s over! 👀🎉 Thank you to @makrs for inviting us out!!

Follow them now so you’re in the know for the next one and ready for Bull City Boos Fest next year! 🎃👻

✨Our line up for this weekend!✨

Because of the rain we haven’t done any markets the past 2 weekends. So we are VERY excited to be back at a market!

Don’t miss Pupalooza this Saturday! Grab some cute accessories for your pet and bring your A-game for the costume contest!

I am so BEYOND GRATEFUL for my market yesterday at @fablebooksandcafe !! The weather was cold but my heart was warm and full. It felt amazing to be validated by so many strangers. Many of you asked when my next markets would be, so here it is!! My November schedule!! I’m working on many fun new designs and need to replenish some of my items. I sold out of my Calla Earrings and ran out of sizes on my Jade rings😂 and I didn’t even have time to take many pictures or videos. Seriously y’ll blew me away with how much enthusiasm there was for my designs. I love you all!!

I started Mooncake Jewelry after my brother passed away, as a promise to him that I would start living for myself, take that leap of faith, and stop worrying so much about other people’s opinions. I wanted his free spirit to live on in me. It felt like he was watching over me and gave me his blessings💛 Thank you to everyone who stopped by and started following my journey❤️

Scroll to see how I slept last night👉🏼
