I guess I thought that if I never posted it wasn’t really over. Dance has shaped me in ways I never imagined possible. From dancing since I was a baby, to 9 months pregnant and going back 3 months postpartum, I am so proud of myself. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it. Here’s a few words to the people who changed my life the most…

Thank you to my dance teachers who reminded me I am worth so much more than my mistakes. You guys showed me unconditional love and kindness in my most vulnerable moments. I hope to raise my daughter with that same love I learned from all of you.
Thank you to my family who payed and sacrificed for me to be able to dance all these years. Thank you mom for watching Austyn so I could continue my dance education and dad, thank you for your countless hours of work to pay for this sport. Your efforts did not go unnoticed!

Especially thank you to the friendships I’ve gained. Thank you to everyone who supported me these past hard years. From pretending like you didn’t know I was pregnant when I was sick in class. To coming to my baby shower and taking Austyn in from the day I brought her to the Safford competition and everyone fell in love with her. This is the kind of support I will look for in every relationship in my life. You guys will forever be my best friends and Austyn’s dance aunties 💞

Thank you dance for the joy, happiness and love you’ve given me. I can’t wait to watch my daughter love this sport as much as I do ❤️‍🩹
