No rules, no expectations, just being present in the moment. That’s my favorite way to say goodbye to a year.
Hello to whatever comes next 🫰✨

At this year’s Freshpaint, some clear threads connected artists and designers — from deeply personal archives to new mythologies.

On the eve of Shabbat we want to share with you the last part of our conversation with art guide, curator, and tour leader at Freshpaint @malah_ma. In this series in DI Catalouge Magazine, Masha Malakh shares her observations about one of the key events of the Israeli art scene. Noam Zonshine, Lian Sharkia, Keshet Migdal, Daria Konshtik, Malak Manzour, May Goldstein, and others artists in our article!

Together with art curator @malah_ma we’re back with more impressions from this year’s Freshpaint!

After diving into the fresh energy of the Greenhouse, we now turn to the curated spaces — where artworks become stories.

Among the many, a few exhibitions left a lasting impression — thoughtful, emotional, and beautifully told:

▪️Cartography of Dreams
Lena Guberman @lenaguberman & Lena Revenko @lena.revenko
Curated by Limor Margulis @limor_margulis

▪️The Heaviness of Time
Ayala Tzur @ayala_tzur & Tamar Green @tamargreen__
Curated by Michal Krasny @krasnymichal

▪️Khoshneshee / Intimate
Rubin PantoFaru @rubin_pantofaru Olya Brener, Noa Lamdan Hakeiny, Einav Barness Elias

Which one resonates with you most?

While we’re already working on the second part of our conversation with art guide and curator Masha Malakh @malah_ma we want to take a moment to share with you a few highlights from Masha’s recent reflection on contemporary Israeli art — inspired by this year’s Freshpaint Fair.

In this post, we picked a few thoughts and moments that made us pause and think a little deeper. Swipe through to catch a glimpse! The link to the full story awaits you in bio.

We’d love to hear what spoke to you most — and what kind of stories you’d like to see next on DI Magazine!

“Beauty will save the world” — and we truly believe it. Especially now, when we all need a little more light and meaning, art brings us consolation and inspiration.

Together with art guide and curator Masha Malakh @malah_ma we’re starting a new series following the Freshpaint Fair @freshpaintartfair and the amazing artists who made it unforgettable.

Masha’s taking us on a journey through bold works, personal stories, and the vibrant world of contemporary Israeli art.

✨ First stop: the Greenhouse — a space for fresh new voices and debut talents.
Who are they? What are they creating? And where can you see it now?

Head to the link in bio for the full story!
