Found my new favourite Malaysian spot in London 🇲🇾✨

As a Malaysian (and a Penang girl who is VERY critical about her char kuey teow), Malay Fellas in Bayswater is officially Malaysian approved 👀

We basically wanted to order everything off the menu because EVERYTHING looked so good.

Satay ayam: served with pulut, which you can dunk straight into that rich peanut sauce.
Tulang sumsum bakar: their famous beef bone marrow in a rich curry sauce, served with the flakiest roti.
Ikan bakar sambal: legit SO good and perfect for sharing.
Prawn char kuey teow: the wok hei was there, the flavour was authentic and the prawns were MASSIVE. They definitely do not skimp on the ingredients.

And of course, we had to save room for dessert 🍧

Honestly, I wanted to order the entire menu…Looking for authentic Malaysian food? add this one to your list 🇲🇾🤍

The sun was out, along with thousands from the wider Malaysian community, for the annual Malaysia Carnival, a captivating showcase and celebration of Malaysia’s diversity.

Organised by Malaysian High Commission on Saturday 5th September at the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre (TARRC) in Brickendonbury, near Hertford.

Timed to coincide with Merdeka, the one day festival was packed with mouth-watering food (Malay, Chinese & Tamil), live performances, cultural delights, games and more.
