So excited to bring together a mini-book fest of sorts, if books are your thing, then this will be right up your street. Come meet the authors/poets/book sellers, do some Christmas shopping, have a mooch around our stalls, grab a drink and cake and have a jolly good time.

I’d really appreciate you sharing this post, if you’d be so inclined.

Support the animals 🐱🐰🐶🐦🐍 Support BOOKS! Give these talented bookish peeps a follow 🥰

Mondays are for Speakeasy spoken word (and street art spotting nearby!) 😍

With this week having world keffiyeh day on the 11th and Nakba day on the 15th, I felt it poignant to remember little Hind and all the other children murdered by Israel by doing my 'They all Have Names' poem as she should have turned 7 on the 3rd but will be forever 5 💔🤍🖤💚

Lovely assortment of varied and diverse work from all of the talented poets as always!!

✨Coming up in my poetry world, so far! ✨
📖18th 7.30pm @outspoken_events Bamboo
📖7th June Limoncello 3pm Liberty Bell

Also! I'm in Give Poetry a Chance 2024 fundraising second anthology, search on Lulu for all details, all proceeds to charity ❤️

Also! I'm in a Palestine fundraising anthology, keep an eye out when you're in News from Nowhere! 🇵🇸

Last night was the fabulous Speakeasy poetry night that I've missed the last three months!!

Good being back amongst some of my faves, it was the second anniversary of me going along too! Always a brilliant variety of pieces and I adore the fact we have from a teenager all the way up to eighty plus years olds!

Words unite ❤️

Broken lifts meant our words blossomed in the garden

Because of the broken lift it meant we changed our plans slightly, so instead of the engine room we performed in the beautiful @spinnersmillleigh community garden instead & it was an absolutely stunning way to end our festival

I am doing an #edfringe preview of my show ‘Do You Remember the First Rhyme?’ on 18 June at @fiercevaultmcr together with the Still Got It Showcase line up of @malbibby @lindadownspoet @saint_vespaluus and @maria_at_40

As my show is about rediscovering creativity later in life the still got it showcase is made up of other people who have done the same. All of them are wonderfully talented and entertaining and I am so pleased to be performing with them all.

And as for my little ‘turn’, the show got ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️on its @gmfringe debut from @northwestenduk and it has just been shortlisted in the @sabotagereviews #saboteurawards list which is very lovely indeed.

Please come along I’d love to see you there 😊

Link in bio to grab a ticket now (free or price of a pint)

The Still Got It Showcase vol ii is coming to @fiercevaultmcr on SUNDAY 18 JUNE with another legend * of poets.

* collective noun for poets don’t @ me

Expect a night filled with dazzling words and entertainment from

@malbibby
@maria_at_40
@saint_vespaluus
and @lindadownspoet

Followed by a preview of my #edfringe storytelling & poetry show ‘Do You Remember the first Rhyme?’ … which is my story about rediscovering creativity in my 40s … hence the idea of showcasing others who did the same.

Stay tuned to find out more about each individual legend on the line up over the course of the next few days & in the meantime snap up a ticket at the link in my bio as no one likes to see a poetry fan crying in the street because they didn’t book a ticket in time. I can’t have that type of trauma on my conscience. Not again.
