2 more Fridays til I hang it from the rafters @malibunights

Nearly every single Friday night for the past 3 years, many of you have been kind enough to listen to me play Hotel Room Service, hear me completely trainwreck, and let me play obscure songs when I probably shouldn’t have. I’m thankful for all the faces I’ve met and hands I’ve shaken during my time at Malibu.

I’m forever indebted to my girlfriend Sandy and my best friends Triston, Reuel, and Olivia for turning Malibu Nights into a home for all of our friends and friends of friends. You guys have all dealt with my slow-night-induced mood swings and me mixing the same 2 songs 200 times in the living room, but you helped Chad and me turn the ship around.

I’m thankful for Chad and all the staff @backyardgnv for giving me this opportunity, and to Chad for taking me under his wing and showing me the ropes. We had some painful nights but shared some of the greatest nights together than shaped my college experience. You put me in some tight situations as a beginner that forced me to go home and put my head down in Serato (e.g., playing with @iamjeansean and @djatrain).

To the DJs I met during my time here, you’ve all shaped my experience more than you know. @royoplaysmusic, you’ve become my brother behind the booth, and I’m glad to be back there with you for this past semester.

As much as the Bad Bunny and “No Hands” requests have plagued my nights, after this semester is over, I’ll probably wish I could have someone request them just one more time at Backyard.
