Celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day by reminiscing on some old memories of my journey through my favorite sport! 🤼‍♀️

Through the ups and downs, wrestling has made me the woman that I am proud to be today. There were many different stages that lead to me becoming “Coach Sloan” and I am grateful for each and every one! Only God knows how much love I have for the people who’ve been on the journey with me💛💛

Our 4th WOW duals in the books and folkstyle is officially OVER!
This group was great this year! Organizing 4 teams is always overwhelming, but once we step on the mats, everything falls into place and we are so blessed to have such amazing coaches in our corners, parents that have our backs, and wrestlers that continue to develop, work hard, that are coachable, that show great sportsmanship and dedication to the sport and organization, and have tenacity, sass, and class!
We love the ambassadors we attract to our organization, and we look many, many more as we continue to grow.
Own your space girls, advocate for yourselves, and love what you do! You are bigger than wrestling, and we will love you beyond this journey, and we are blessed to be part of it!

Randall Ruckus and Ring of Fire 🔥 this weekend! Ruckus was the calm before the storm placing two Runner-up Amarillo Sisters!
Then today, (12-8-24) we hit the road at 4am to wrestle in Duncan, OK!
Aspyn and Tk are AmaSOTM Champs!
Josie, Mikayela, and Bradlee are AmaSOTM runner-ups
Chicky placed 4th and earned herself an arm sling! Dr update soon to come, but wreslted 5 matches very tough!
AND we got to run into our friends from @ampedwrestlingclub and @silverback_wrestling_fortworth !
Now we will take a break, get ready for our Christmas party, media day AND Stockyard Stampede at @fortworthstockyards
WE ARE BIGGER THAN WRESTLING! 👑👑👑

Throwback to when we had a college signing in our backyard!

I would like to thank everyone I know for where I am today. In one way or another the way that I have been impacted by those who have crossed my path, have affected who I am as an individual.

That being said, I am so extremely blessed. This past year has been nothing short of a journey. I know that wherever this world may take me, I have been blessed to experience Campbellsville University in the way I have. I have met extraordinary women who have shaped me, molded me, supported me, and loved me endlessly. Each of these women truly deserve the world and everything in it. I have met lifelong best friends and have loved every second with each of them. To my girls: Thank you for everything, I love you. ❤️

As I enter University of Dubuque, I want to note that Campbellsville University has given me so many opportunities. I am so grateful for what I have learned and the lessons encountered.

I am always so grateful for the places that wrestling takes me and the way this exceptional sport shapes my life.
