Malinda @malindafarrington is one of our amazing teachers here at CCLCF, running our Jazz Dance classes every session. She has been apart of this community for such a long time and prioritizes your experience with yourself! Dance for us is more than technical but creates a space to grow within yourself and grow with a community. . . #communitycenter #lacañada #lacañadaflintridge #community #beginner

For Malinda's Birthday, I was able to find a window card from the first Broadway Show she was in, DANGEROUS GAMES. I reached out to my friend Jules Fisher who produced the show and had the gallery in Manhattan send it to him first so that he and his wife Graciele Daniele, who Directed and Choreographed the show, could sign it. Then they shipped it to me. When I gave it to Malinda, she was so moved she cried. I love my girl and I'm so glad I could finally find this for her! Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!

31 years ago in New York City, when I was a professional comedian, I proposed to Malinda Shaffer, a working Broadway Dancer, Singer, Actress at Café Des Artistes in Manhattan. For the past 21 years we've lived here in Los Angeles...I'm a working TV writer/producer and Malinda works as an actress in TV, Film and Commercials. Over the years we were always sad that Café Des Artistes had closed but I just found out TODAY, that it had been refurbished and re-opened in 2011 as The Leopard at des Artistes! It even has the original murals on the walls!! So...this many years later, happily married with two amazing kids, we have decided to celebrate our 30 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY this June 11th, 2025, in NYC at The Leopard at des Artistes! I guess the big question is, Dear @theleopardnyc how soon can we make that reservation? #beyondexcited #weddinganniversary #greatfood #bestdatenightever #nyc #losangeles #tvwriter #actress #broadway #broadwaymusicals
