This one means a lot to me.

These old Desert Dairy and Malin Lewis Distributing signs have been part of my family’s story for a long time, and now I get to hang them here at the Desert GRID. I honestly can’t think of a better place for them.

Growing up in the Sonoran Desert, I had the privilege of watching my dad build these businesses from the ground up. Because of him, we learned what hard work looked like. We learned to show up, keep going, and take pride in what we were doing.

Looking at these signs brings back so many memories. They remind me of where I came from and the man who helped shape the person I am today.

Dad, thank you for everything you’ve done for our family. Thank you for your love, your support, and for giving us a childhood we’ll never forget. I’ll always be grateful, and I’m proud that a little piece of your legacy now has a home here at the Desert GRID.

Some of the best days of your life haven’t happened yet.
The sunrise you haven’t seen. The prayer you haven’t had answered. The friendships you haven’t made. The harvest you haven’t planted. The adventure you haven’t taken.
Keep showing up. Keep working. Keep trusting God.
There’s still so much good ahead

Not a dream. GOATS.

We traded screen time for goat time, and I’d say we’re winning.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Bible, Hebrews 11:1

Just like a gardener plants a seed and trusts that life is growing beneath the soil long before it can be seen, faith allows us to trust in God’s promises even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
I love teaching this concept to my kids through planting a garden! Beautiful life lesson. We can’t wait to see the watermelons and cantaloupe that come from these tiny leaves!
