Dear Track and Field,

14 years is a long time to dedicate to a sport, but I couldn’t imagine my life without you. Over the years, you have taught me how to work towards my goals, be a leader, experience the joys and success in life, push through hardships, and to keep moving forward even if I fail. I have met some of the best people in my life that have become my family that I will always love and support for the rest of my time. The way I ended my track career was not how I wanted to but I know little 8 year old me would be so proud of how far I’ve come and I have no regrets. So thank you. Thank you for the lessons you taught me, the family I’ve made, and making me the person I am today. Even though this is goodbye, it’s also hello to a fresh start as a NARP haha! You will always have a special place in my heart and I will always love you, thank you ❤️
