For years, finding beautiful and vintage treasures in the most unexpected places has been our little adventure as sisters. This Saturday, it becomes yours too.

If you’ve been looking for a sign to spend your Saturday somewhere beautiful, surrounded by pieces you’ll be so glad you took home and people you’ll be glad you spent the day with, this is it.

See you at Our Market.

When I first saw @Yimeeka she was opening for another concert we’d put together, about two Christmases ago. I thought she was a performer, very young extroverted energy. Post this I did a run through on a couple of her songs and they were great.. but then I saw the ‘Say a Prayer’ reel/ snippet and boyy! It’s still not out, I had to beg her to send me a link for it. I thought it was very somber & what’s the word… genuine, true!

After that I tried to get her on the lineup for Bandage @ Lagos Fashion Week but it didn’t pan out for multiple reasons… she was traveling and her manager ***** wasn’t keen so I allowed it. At the top of this year though, when we decided that Bandage would take many formats including Bandage Sessions, I thought she was perfect for the ground up music purist community we wanted to build. I reached out and things flowed relatively easily (which is always a good sign).

We secured a too good to be true partnership w @byd.nigeria that allowed us use their showroom in the heart of VI for the venue (shouts to Mehdi & Sola) and we were on our way!
We wanted to give it legs so in addition to the full live band performance, we filmed and interview and also filmed the set for a digital audience as well as recording for a live EP, we’ll announce release dates for those later.
For now here’s some photos I took, from interview, to rehearsal(s), soundcheck and show day.
Special thanks to Toni P @toniverse for coming through as interviewer & compere extraordinaire! And the band… I’m thinking of calling the resident band ‘Apapa Connection’ 😂 what do you think?

Anyway there’s more in store, we’ve just announced @timlyre for Bandage Sessions 0002 on July 26th, get your tickets stat! This will happen monthly going forward so let me know who else you’d like to see grace our stage.

These photos were taken by me for Bandage Sessions 0001 Feat. Yimeeka, no polish, just what my beginner camera skill set caught while I was busy gallivanting.

Are you getting me?

Today, we celebrate the women who lead, guide, challenge ideas, and open doors.

Across P+ Measurement Services and within many of the organisations we work with, #female leadership continues to shape conversations, influence decisions, and strengthen the communications and intelligence industry.

In the image above, you will find a number of remarkable women who have contributed to our journey over the years. Some are colleagues. Some are clients. Some are partners. All are leaders in their own right.

Take a moment to look closely.

Can you spot someone you know?

Tag the women you can see in the image. And while you are at it, tag a woman who gave you your first opportunity, opened a door for you, or believed in you when it mattered.

At #PPlus, we are grateful for the many women who have shaped our story over the decades and those who continue to shape our future.

Happy International Women’s Day.
