5 years ago we opened LOA with a lot of excitement, a bit of experience, and absolutely no idea what was ahead.

Since then we’ve lived a lot of life alongside this business—celebrating milestones, becoming wives and moms, navigating grief, moving homes, hiring incredible people, making mistakes, learning lessons, and figuring things out one day at a time.

The truth is, owning a business has taught us far more than retail ever could.

As we celebrate LOA turning FIVE, we thought we’d share a few things we wish someone would’ve told us when we started. 🤍

To every customer, employee, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of this journey: thank you. You have helped build something so much bigger than a boutique.

Here’s to five years of lessons, growth, and community—and hopefully many more to come.
