Very tough race this weekend.

Had a huge off in practice at my own doing, being bold on a cold & green track saw me throw it into the dirt and tecpros

We shook the dirt off and put it P3 in qualifying.
The Kart had some solid pace even with some dumpster tires, we were able to very comfortably run P3 and battle it out with P2 in the Pre-Final But, Just a few laps from the end of the heat our throttle cable snapped and had to retire the kart.

Heading into the final we got it all fixed and ready to go, But, the DNF had us Starting from dead last. We managed to start carving our way through the field very quickly. Unfortunately, while Running P5, With the podium positions right in my grasp, another driver just in front of me had a huge lockup into the hairpin… With 0 time or room for me to avoid the incident we both got collected up and spat into the barriers…. Immediately saw the race slip right out of my hands.

We still showed some great pace and felt great with the machine under me. Time to re group and get ready for the next one.

Thanks as always to @fox3_motorsportz for building a great machine for me to drive and all of the technical support. @trackprepperformance for all of the safety gear. @gulfcoastautostudio for supporting. And of corse @mals.media for always capturing the moment.

Sebring 12 Hour ChampCar Endurance Series 🏁

First of all, I’d like the thank everyone who made this race possible: @autotechnikracing, @tidal_gingerbeer, @poblanosmexclw, Clearview Windows and Doors, Donato Luxury Homes, and my amazing parents.

Also, big thank you to @mals.media for the pictures!

With my great teammates @adrianoyannuzzi and @lucasdonatoracing, the team was able to secure a p2 finish in class, and a top 15 overall out of 80+ cars. We were in the fight for a podium for the entire race, and after halfway we had settled into second. The p1 car was out of reach with a huge power and aero advantage, but we had pulled a nearly 12 lap gap to p3. At about 7 hours in, we had a fuse blow, which caused the car to shut off. It was towed back to pit lane, where the awesome crew at Autotechnik fixed it in no time. We went out just behind p2, and managed to pass them and pull away. The car ran almost perfectly, the fuse being the fault of no one. It was a fantastic experience, and hope to do it again soon.
