Been harmonizing with @malusigoosie to his music for years, so it was only a matter of time before we took it to the stage to show it off!

all roads lead to POMONA.

Playing Ollie in MadFox Theatre’s production of POMONA this summer was an experience I’ll carry with me for a long time.

It was incredibly poignant to step into the Lovecraftian mind of Alistair McDowall, who creates a dystopian world that is dark, strange, fragmented, and deeply human—one that refuses to give you easy answers and instead asks you to sit with the uncomfortable questions.

To get to work on such a unique, edgy, deep-thinking piece of theatre is rare. POMONA challenges its audience to look closer at the world around us—at isolation, exploitation, fear, technology, violence, and the stories we create to make sense of things we don’t understand.

And perhaps what made this experience feel especially relevant was the world outside the theatre. The more dystopian our reality can seem, the more important it feels to make art that asks us to stop, question, and think.
