2016 😱

It was a pivotal year for me— the birth of a new era at the time. An era that brought bravery through acts of courage to try new things, talk to new people, and to saying yes more.

I am grateful to be able to look back and say,
Yes I did that
And yes, keep going
From era to era knowing I am here because of the cumulative mountain of choices made along the way and the people I have met and the relationships I have fostered and let go of and the opportunities that have allowed for the ebb and flows to feel deeply and love this life so big

i want your messy house
and dirty dishes
piled high on the stove
like when we burnt the turkey
to a crisp
exploding
like an oil tanker
to a flame
behind the oven door
the year before we curled ourselves into our chocolate leather sofa
in candlelight,
when the pacific winds
took all the power
and left our home humid
and our bellies full
of butter chicken
and smiles colored as if
a gallery of Andy Warhols hung across our living room walls
painted by the blind mouse
living in our garage.
save the editing for your
cogs in a wheel
and give me Murphys law
on a basic thursday
but make it New Year’s Eve,
clinking glasses,
and thumping feet;
and do not forget
the supernatural force of my 2am cries surviving
through the ordinary hums
of a water heater’s groans
cross-legged and still
home
in the body to
the tune
of our
imperfect melody

#MountainsAndMimosas 💍🥂 Part I
2.15.25 | 2.16.25

for those of you that know me,
know that I am the worst planner in the history of planning history—
literally on the non-plan-plan, but when it means showing up— I show up.

and when I say show up,
I mean I show up for the people, life, love, and all the big and little moments we can share together.
Experience + people >>> everything else

So little did I know that the very people I love, conspired to throw me the most wonderful and memorable bach I could have ever dreamed of.
Boy was I surprised! Omg. Like whattttttt is happening?! 🥹 like who are these people sitting at this table acting like this was the plan the whole time?!?! (Spoiler alert— some of my favs 🥰)

At the end of the day,
I just want to drink mimosas and eat yogurt parfaits and charcuterie with my favorite people over meaningful conversation. 🥹♥️
And what happened this past weekend was that and then some— like over the mountains and through the hills and to the moon over.

My heart is insanely full.

Thank you @mama.jny_ and @gmyerss20 for the masterminds that you are and bringing this crew of ours together. ♥️♥️ You mean the world to me.

My heart is big and full and so grateful for big hearts and tiny hands to share laughter, tears, and tiny sandwiches and pastries with. 🫶🏼

It never escapes me how loved I am in this life and to what extent this love will go to express deep deep gratitude. 🥹

My heart is full

We are all gardens with seasons of bloom and fallow 🌱
February was beautiful and fruitful, and it was also a time of preparing soil and turning inward.
