Proud of the way we bounced back after a rough outing last weekend. Finished 4-0 at the @thehopeshowcase! Not where we want to be but we are headed in the right direction!

Meet another one of our Tip-Off Lunch & Fundraiser panelists, Maylana Martin Douglas! 🎙️🏀

A former WNBA player, collegiate coach, and basketball analyst, Maylana brings a wealth of experience from every level of the game. A UCLA standout and former Pac-10 Player of the Year, she went on to play professionally, coach at the collegiate level, and work as an analyst for the Pac-12 Network and ESPN. We’re excited to welcome her to our 2nd Annual Tip-Off Lunch & Fundraiser and hear from her on October 10!

Legacy.

Nearly 30 years apart, the Douglas name is still representing the Red, White, and Blue.

Maylana Douglas earned her place on USA Basketball as a member of the U18 Team in 1996 and the U19 Team in 1997. Now, her daughter, Sydney Douglas, continues the family tradition, earning USA Basketball honors with the U19 Team in 2025 and the U18 Team in 2026.

This is more than basketball. It’s a legacy of excellence, commitment, and representing your country at the highest level.

One family. Two generations. Four USA Teams.

The Douglas Legacy lives on. 🇺🇸🏀❤️#USABasketball #Legacy #MotherAndDaughter #StrongerTogether #DouglasLegacy TeamUS
