POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
We knew September would be a very busy and trying month for our team. We talked a few weeks ago about how we had a lot of hard fights coming up and we would learn a lot. That proved to be very true as we had some extremely close contests over the course of 11 fights and two events. We learned a great deal from these fights and I’m grateful for these lessons. I’m so proud of each and every one of these athletes and of our team as a whole, from how far we have come to seeing how far we still have to go, knowing that we will get there with discipline, consistency, pressure, and time. @mmainstitute.rva is just getting warmed up

THIS IS WHAT WAR LOOKS LIKE. 🩸🥊 When the lights go out and the crowd goes home, this is what’s left behind. Blood. Sweat. Heart. Respect. Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported BFFC 21. You brought the energy and made this night one to remember. And most importantly, THANK YOU to every fighter who stepped inside that cage and gave it EVERYTHING. Win or lose, you left a piece of yourself on that mat. This blood tells the story. Warriors went to battle here. ⚔️🩸 BFFC — THIS IS FIGHT NIGHT.

🔥 STEPPING UP ON TWO DAYS’ NOTICE Nick Fusco answers the call and accepts the fight on just two days’ notice. For Matt Highfill, this will be the third opponent of this fight camp. Through every change, he’s stayed in the gym, stayed focused, and stayed ready for whoever would be standing across from him. Now, it’s Fusco. Two strikers with the skills to keep the fight dangerous wherever it goes. Expect both men to bring the energy when they step into the BFFC cage. 👊🔥 The time to get your tickets is NOW!

🎙️ DJUAN OWENS IS BACK ON THE MIC After making his BFFC commentary debut at our last event, Djuan Owens is back cageside on September 19th. With nearly 20 years of martial arts experience, Djuan brings a wealth of knowledge to the commentary desk—but it’s more than just technical knowledge. His passion for MMA and genuine excitement for the sport came through throughout our last event, and we’re thrilled to have that energy back. A respected fighter, coach, and ambassador for the sport, Djuan brings a perspective and excitement that few can match. We can’t wait to hear his take on the action September 19th. 🎙️🔥

🚨 BFFC 21 UPDATE — CAMPBELL DUNN IS STILL IN THE FIGHT! 🎙️🥊 Unfortunately, due to a shoulder injury, Campbell Dunn will not be able to compete on September 19th. We know how hard Campbell trained for this fight and how much he wanted to step inside the cage. But Campbell told us he wasn’t going to miss BFFC 21. So instead of fighting inside the cage, he’ll be right next to it as an OFFICIAL BFFC 21 COMMENTATOR! 🎙️🔥 This is what BFFC is about — fighters supporting fighters, gyms supporting gyms, and a community coming together to grow combat sports in Virginia. After everything we've gone through to keep BFFC 21 happening, we need the support of our community more than ever. Come support Campbell, support our fighters, support the local gyms, and help us PACK THE HOUSE on September 19th! 📅 SEPTEMBER 19TH 📍 VSU Multipurpose Center 20809 2nd Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803 🎟️ BARFIGHTSFC.COM Campbell may be out of the fight… but he's definitely NOT out of BFFC 21. 🎙️🥊🔥 SUPPORT LOCAL FIGHTERS. SUPPORT LOCAL COMBAT SPORTS. SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY.
