🎉 Two years? Already?! Time seriously has wings when you’re raising a little dragon. 🐉✨

Sonareś Ryūichi Symon-Yamaguchi — a whirlwind of giggles and chaos, as dazzling as he is determined — has kept us on our toes every step of the way. Year 1 saw the ultimate Baby Space House Party, onesie-clad kids conquering the Enchanted Garden alongside Mami’s mom-crew. It was, in every sense of the word, epic.

Year 2? Well, let’s just say life shifted gears to Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 mode: new home, new flavors, new adventures. Oh, and let’s not forget adding Sonares’s little sister, Akira, to the party! This year’s birthday called for a toddler theme park escapade — think “training wheels for Disney and Universal Studios” — with cousin Haruhi and Mami’s own cousin, Saki, as our partners-in-play.

Between Nari’s moody-but-joyful vibe and Mami keeping Akira snug in the winter chill, we packed in laughter, lessons, and a reminder of just how precious these fleeting moments are.

To top it off, I penned a little tune: “Two Years Strong,” a melody for our miniature fire-breather to carry forward. 🎶 Because these are the days that shape the stories we’ll tell tomorrow.

Parenting isn’t easy — it’s messy, exhausting, and full of curveballs — but here’s the truth: the hard stuff is the best stuff, and this? This is the best part so far. ❤️✨#family #son #birthday #2under2 #love #japan #journey

it’s time for humanity to return to its Heart ♥️
The trick is to continually allow the heart to distill the confusion of the mind.

Well, it’s been a rollercoaster of a journey, or should I say, a whirlwind? No, wait, a maelstrom... actually, scratch that, more like a tempest, or maybe a tornado? Ah, you get the gist, it’s been a wild ride! I met my match in 2020, and ever since, we’ve been breaking records and raising a bit of hell as we closed our Miami chapter and zigzagged across the country, hitting all our favorite states in rare moments of reverie.

We laughed our way through it all, armed with little more than our wits, our love, and of course, our son, Sonares Ryūchi Symon-Yamaguchi. From day one, we both agreed the world was on fire and we needed to move at the speed of light to break old habits and create new ones for the family we both craved.

Our lives have been nothing short of extraordinary, filled with excitement at every turn. But the real adventure began when we became parents. Despite a legion of divinely guided setbacks, I am forever grateful to the woman by my side.

From a rocky pregnancy to a postpartum whirlwind, we learned to evolve from a couple into a cohesive unit. In the midst of the shrill cries and the chaos of trying to create a safe haven for our son, we grew exponentially, surrounded by the enchanted garden, rediscovering our artistic roots and adding more color to our journey as parents.

My partner, Mami Yamaguchi, is the epitome of “all-in.” Everything she does is with an overflowing abundance of love, effort, and a touch of “shinto.” Our journey has been beyond belief, forging timeless friendships and gaining a new perspective on life.

This adventure, though challenging, has only brought us closer. So close, in fact, that we now have another child on the way, making our four-year love story reflect two under two of our children... and counting.

To the love of my life, my partner, and soon-to-be wife, I raise a toast to the hard times and big achievements, to the laughter, the tears, and the sheer determination it takes to be the incredible woman you are. I am immensely proud of you, Mami Yamaguchi. You are one of a kind, and undeniably, you are mine. Happy Mother’s Day. 🕊️💕 #mothersday

Hey Ya’ll, I’ve got some news 📰

For those riding the high vibes of 5D with us, you’ve seen our whirlwind of adventures—from last year’s knighting in Rome to this year’s Valentine’s Day SpaceX launch, the Symon-Yamaguchis have barely touched ground!

….Little did you know, amidst these escapades, we’ve been harboring another thrilling secret. Just before the rocket soared, Mami and I discovered we’re expanding our little tribe—again!

There we were: unpacking a slew of bags from our minivan at a Cape Canaveral beach house, meeting with fellow dreamers aiming for the moon, when suddenly, Mami’s overcome by unexpected waves of heat and nausea. It’s unlike her to falter, so we sensed something big—a new addition to our family was aboard.

A swift trip to CVS confirmed our crew was growing: we’re now three...and a bit!

…and so here we are…two under two, embarking on life’s greatest adventure, driven to make the world a better place through art, humanitarian efforts, and living true to that timeless wisdom—leave the world better than you found it.

—Because, long after our wild nights fade, what remains is the legacy we build for these tiny beings who will one day reflect on who we were.

In the spirit of the wise we are reminded, it’s not just about what we DO, but who we are BEING.

And with our two little angels under two, we’re committed to being the best humans we can be for them.

From Sonares, our year of the Tiger, embodying sovereignty and spirit, to his soon-to-arrive sister, who will be born in the year Dragon, the journey is just beginning.

Mami and I have our hands full with “Crouching Tiger & Hidden Dragon”, but embracing these moments with love and laughter is what life’s all about.

A big shout out to my incredible woman who never ceases to amaze me with her level of dedication.

Cheers to all from the bustling Symon-Yamaguchi household, wishing you a radiant Sunday filled with joy and inner reflection. ✨🙏🏻🐉🐯✨

I’m photographing some musician portraits today and they shared my Sin City project as inspiration. Thought I’d share some of my favorites from the series. I studied the movies and bought the full set of comics as inspiration. I love the style of lighting and graphic nature. We had so much fun dreaming up new characters.

Hey everyone! This weekend, the Symon clan celebrated a milestone in style - my son’s first birthday with a “Wild One’s” bash. Picture this: a tribe of modern-day warriors, young parents and their mini-me’s, united under the “Samurai Mama” flag. It’s been a whirlwind year, and frankly, I feel like I’ve just graduated from “Parenting 101” as much as my little man, Sonar, has evolved from a cute infant to a bustling toddler. Welcome to the big leagues, kiddo!

In honor of the Year of the Wooden Dragon and embracing our family’s unique legacy linked to the legendary “47 Ronin,” we decided to go all out. The theme? “Wild Ones.” The date? December 6th - a sweet spot between Sonar’s birthday on the 4th and his buddy Valentino’s (a.k.a. “V”) on the 28th. Everyone donned their wildest onesies, with our family rocking dragon costumes, paying homage to Sonar’s middle name “Ryūichi” - meaning “First son of the Dragon.” Talk about embracing our roots!

And let me tell you, Sonar is every bit the dragon warrior. Whether he’s zipping around like he’s got teleportation powers, crashing through barriers, or showing tackling our pets, he’s a whirlwind of energy and kindness. His vocabulary is already a source of daily comedy - from “Olly golly” to his unique way of calling us “Bub” and “Mama-mana” (still holding out for “dad” or maybe “papa”). It’s a riot of laughter in our house, with his mom and I always playfully arguing over who he takes after more.

The party was a hit, thanks to Feli (V’s mom), who helped us turn our “Enchanted Garden” home into a family-friendly wonderland. We even revealed some big plans for the future, raising a toast (juice for the kiddos, a bit of vino for the adults) to the journey ahead. But most importantly, I want to take a moment to shout out to the love of my life, the extraordinary Samurai Mama herself. Her dedication to making every moment magical for our son is just awe-inspiring. From painting a play DJ set to transforming our space into a party paradise, she’s the detail-oriented Virgo to my free-spirited Sagittarius - a perfect balance.

Fatherhood has been a transformative journey for me. Discovering Mami’s heritage around the time Sonares came into being sparked a new creative drive. It led to some pretty incredible things – like getting my art on the Moon, part of a massive project with NASA and SpaceX, alongside 221 other artists aiming to make a difference. Then there’s this unreal experience in Rome, getting knighted by the Medici family for using my art to help others. In all my work, especially with Love.com, love hasn’t just been a theme; it’s been the driving force.

Let’s be real – being a dad is insane. Juggling everything during tough economic times and a global crisis, all while keeping my startups afloat (now second priority to my son), has been a real trial by fire. Financial pressures, family drama – it’s all part of the gig, but they also bring out some unexpected laughs. Parenting is way harder than anyone tells you, especially when you’re aiming to do it properly.

Mami and I are on this mission to make the world a better place for kids, through our art and by building communities. Mami pulling together twenty families to swap parenting insights – that’s something I’m genuinely proud of.

This past year has been about discovering strengths we didn’t know we had and adapting in ways that have surprised us. Sure, life’s taken a new turn, but when I look at Sonares, it’s clear every change has been for the better.

So here’s to my boy on his first birthday. He’s the next chapter in a legacy that spans 300 plus years. If you understand the weight of that, you know just how monumental today is. —May he be the 48th.

Nearly two years of breakneck speed of work coming together to launch Sonares’ first art collection “Ryūzan” FACE the DRAGON Art Basel, as part of the Lunaprise Art Moon Mission! Our first public reveal on stage at the “Meet the Drapers” Tim Draper Event with partners BitBasel & SpaceBlue! What a special reception and a moment for the “Samurai and the Knight” merely a glimmer of what we intend. Big Thanks to @jillbmiami for capturing our moment. We Love You!

—No one tells you the hectic nature of parenting the trials and the tribulations …giving it your all and constantly feeling like you are coming up short.

The sleepless nights, the constant juggling, the parental humor and the deep, soulful unshakeable love you feel when you look at a reflection of yourself + the person you love most reflected right back at you. ✨ Cheers to the Parents slugging through the insanity of today wishing hopefully for a more beautiful tomorrow. Our victory is shared with you — all you unsung parents making it happen for your legacies, no matter the cost —We salute you.
I could not ask for a greater partner in Love. Thank you @mami_monster , I love you!!!#art #love #47ronin #medici #bitbasel #spaceblue #lunaprise

Amidst escalating conflicts and deceptive narratives, it’s vital to question their origins and the blurring lines of morality in warfare. The Geneva Convention’s principles are fading, urging us to prioritize peace over acceptance of aggression. Humanity’s voice must steer our path toward collective peace.

We have some questions 🔎. Can someone please answer them?

Family…Are you willing to let go?

This is still one of my favorite posts from my own page that I put together a few years back and it speaks to me today even more strongly than it did when I first posted it, because if we don’t let go and shift our perspective, we will get lost in the old stories that will keep us locked out of our evolution.
The only way out is through. You got this!

I love you all Earth-side and all ancestors SkyWide
