Gremlin ❤️‍🩹☁️🐶🐾

April 12th, 2012 - March 24th, 2026

Born in the back seat of a fast-food drive thru, you were the first born of your litter and the runt. When we first met, you were in my gma’s purse with 2 siblings, and it was so pokemon coded because I had to chose 1 of 3. And I chose you!! My gma doubted you being the runt, but I didn’t. I knew it was like being doubted in life so he was perfect for me. You fit in the palm of my hand and at 4 weeks old, you were mine and the adventures of Zayne & Gremlin began. I met you at the darkest time of my teen years and you saved me.

I could talk about you forever, and I will. You were so fearless for how smol you were. You were my courage. You were there for my coming out, my first time getting in drag, my first car (that we drove everywhere in), my first apartment in LA, and when I met my now fiancé. Obviously he was there for everything but those are some special moments.

I would kiss him on the head with whatever lipstick I was wearing for my gigs and give him a little colored mohawk. Since covid, I got back into gaming, he would always be in my lap. He was the best little snuggle bug ever. He would never walk on the tile, he had literal red carpets at one point. He was the child of a drag queen, so he had attitude and luxury! Just because he was little and mute didn’t stop it from having a big personality.

I have so many fond memories of Cal and Gremlin together, my small chosen family. For 9 years it was us 3. When Gremlin first met Cal, he was so timid, but he did whatever it would take to make Gremlin comfortable and before I knew they were both hooked. Im so grateful for Cal to have helped me give him a good, long, healthy life.

And thank you to everyone else who met Gremlin and just gave him so much love. He loved meeting all my new friends.

You spent your final moments in my arms….I’m going to miss you so much Gremlin, things aren’t the same, they never will be. One day, our energies will cross paths. You are my forever buddy, my goodest boy I could ask for. I know Starx & Comet are looking over you now. You’re in safe paws.

I love you so much Gremlin, rest easy my little monster.
