A summer well spent 🤝

Hikes, lakes, bbqs, beers, spread eagle cliff jumps, and a whole lotta sunshine. Doesn’t get better than that. Other than winter. I’m excited for winter.

Grateful for the rides, the views and the rad people I got to meet at Crankworx Whistler. These mountains make me proud to be Canadian. 🏔️

Our wedding was a 3-day celebration & although planning three events at times felt like a lot, we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Joel initially wanted a 300 person wedding, and I wanted 60. So naturally, we compromised, and had 60…

Our guests traveled from Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Spain & from within Sweden, and consisted of pockets of family and friends who had not yet met.

Connection was one of the main values we were led by when we planned our wedding, and we wanted each guest to feel valued and seen. Our wedding with all its events, was truly a reflection of deep connection.

During our first event, our patio mingle night/boat party/rave cave, me and Joel spent 25 minutes introducing every single guest with a fun anecdote.

I cannot recommend this enough for anyone else planning a wedding at a similar size/circumstance. It broke down any potential barriers for mingling and getting to know each other became so much easier. Suddenly we were all just one big group of friends. All of our guests really appreciated this, plus it was really fun for me and Joel to think of funny anecdotes about our friends & family members.

This vibey event also set the tone for the rest of the wedding weekend, with fun speeches, great food, lots of dancing and just a new experience for most of our traveling guests! We are so happy we both planned and budgeted for this party!
