BIG thank you to all of the wonderful souls involved in creating the ISTA conference experience. I quite literally am not the same me that walked in on day one and couldn’t be more grateful.

If you are in the sound therapy/music for healing space, I highly recommend attending this conference next year. @istasoundsconference

This past weekend 10/2-10/4 with ISTA just flew by…here are only a few of my highlights.

The International Sound Therapy Association Conference was filled with wisdom, inspiration, and meaningful connection... a beautiful reminder of the power of sound and the community that brings it to life.

I left the conference feeling grateful, honored and blessed to be part of this sound healing community encouraging continued education and scientific research in sound.

Still riding the energy of an incredible International Sound Therapy Association conference. ✨

This year I had the honor of presenting two sessions—Guiding the Journey: Meditation Design for Sound Bath Facilitators, focused on crafting and guiding meditation for sound baths, and sharing the results of my Sound Bath Sleep Study exploring sleep and recovery.

But beyond the presentations, what made this conference so special was the people. I met so many amazing people, made instant connections, and was surrounded by incredibly talented musicians, practitioners, researchers, and presenters who are truly at the top of their field.

And it was especially meaningful to present in the same forum as my teacher, mentor, and friend Carmel Diviney, who joined us virtually. ❤️

Leaving this conference feeling inspired, grateful, energized, and excited for what’s ahead.

What a beautiful community. I'll carry you all with me home✨🎶

What an honor it was to moderate this incredible panel at the International Sound Therapy Association conference!
I was joined by four true visionaries and innovators in the field: Christine Stevens, Jeralyn Glass, Joshua Leeds, and Mandara Cromwell. ✨
Together, we explored where the sound therapy field is today, what it means to practice and teach with integrity and discernment, and the responsibilities that come with passing knowledge and practices on to others. We talked about the importance of personal practice, awareness, and boundaries as practitioners, and the ways we can support others without taking responsibility for their healing.
We also looked toward the future: what do we want to cultivate as this field continues to grow, what do we want to carry forward, and what are we still learning about sound and its role in human wellbeing that deserves deeper exploration and research?
I’m grateful for the depth, honesty, experience, and wisdom each of these panelists brought to the conversation, and for the opportunity to hold space for this important dialogue about where we are and where we are going as a field.
Thank you, Christine, Jeralyn, Joshua, and Mandara, for such a meaningful conversation. It was a privilege to be part of it. 💗
