In Part 2 of our Mandarins 2025 sound design breakdown, Trent Gronewold walks through how they transformed a 5½-minute percussion feature into an immersive, evolving soundscape. From developing the four-note motif to the return of the “Stranger Things” bass and coordinated speaker-stack effects, every layer is designed with intention.
