Happy 50th to Songs in the Key of Life! I’ll be loving Stevie until the trees and seas just up and fly away!

Stevie fans it’s our time!!!! Join me in celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Songs in the Key of Life” with a community jam + fundraiser. Consider this your pre-game for the tour this fall! (If you got tickets for the LA show, I’m happy for you 😒)

I’ll be honest: I’ve been going through a dry spell, and things have been tough! I know a lot of people in the same position, so I thought this could be a fun way to help myself and other musicians stay afloat.

The music 🎶: Six hours of non-stop fun. Every half hour, we’ll play a song from “Songs in the Key of Life.” Between those periods, we’ll play whatever our hearts desire.

The fundraising 🤑: The funds from the $5 general fee will be split between the gracious event space (@mandasstudio) and musicians who arrive by 3:00 and stay til the end. Each musician can also collect donation pledges for every song played from “Songs in the Key of Life.” This way, we can maximize the funds each musician gets without placing a hefty entry fee on the audience.

See the RSVP form for the full details. Stay tuned for livestream info.

Come through with your instrument, your voice, or your love of live music, and let’s have a ball! 🎸⚡️❤️‍🔥

Came for an open mic and left with a good night at @mandasstudio . This awesome spot hosts Open Mics on Wednesdays, dancing, comedy, and art in Echo Park. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re a creative or need space.
