Hi friends, I’m starting up a thing. It’s a men’s group ( @mandate.sessions ), meeting in-person in Seattle and centered around providing a safe, judgement-free space for men to share openly and grow into more emotionally intelligent humans. I’ve been thinking about starting this for a long time and—as scary as it is to take the leap—now feels like the right moment. We all need spaces to safely feel, connect, and heal and my hope is that this will grow into one of those spaces. It’s my belief that more emotionally intelligent men will lead to healthier family dynamics, stronger and more connected communities, and a better world free from the poisonous effects of toxic masculine behaviors. If you—like me—have never been to a men’s group before, then this group is for you. If you’re terrified at the idea of sitting together with other men and being vulnerable, then this group is for you. We can do this. This is our Mandate.
