We just got $2M from the NIH โ€” and Iโ€™m still in shock. ย  This started as a scribble in a notebook. My business consultant at time, now COO, Arthur Mandell @mandell_nyc and Iโ€ฆ โ€œwhat if?โ€ Gary and team @hellobklynco wireframed it and with Phase I, built it! ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ Now, EnergyPoints has officially received a Phase II SBIR award from the NIH/NCI โ€” $2M+ to launch a national clinical trial and bring our self-care app to cancer survivors everywhere. ๐Ÿš€ Special thanks to Dr. Susan Beck @beck.susan for the SBIR idea and then being PI on Phase I, Chief Scientific Officer and designing our approach for the Phase II grant and research. And now MPI with Dr Melanie Gold @drmelaniegold on Phase II! ย  Weโ€™re testing how daily acupressure โ€” paired with enhancements like aromatherapy, music, or community โ€” can help people manage fatigue and sleep thanks to the rigor of scientists like Drs Beck, Gold and Dr. Lisa Taylor Swanson @ubergeek_mamabear! ย  But this isnโ€™t just about science. ย  Itโ€™s about giving people something they can do, on their own, to feel better. Itโ€™s about proving that integrative care can be evidence-based and scalable. Itโ€™s about honoring everyone who got us here. ย  ๐Ÿ’ก To our Indiegogo backers โ€” you believed in a minimal viable product and an idea. ๐Ÿ”ฌ To our Phase I team โ€” your work made this real. ๐Ÿ”ฅ To our Phase II collaborators โ€” letโ€™s build something bold. This isnโ€™t just a grant โ€” itโ€™s fuel. Fuel for connection, for healing, for the future of integrative care. ย  Thank you for being part of this journey. Weโ€™re just getting started. ๐Ÿ’™ ย  #EnergyPoints #NIH #SBIR #CancerSurvivorship #DigitalHealth #HealthEquity #StartupLife #Acupressure #ClinicalTrials #TechForGood #SleepBetter #FatigueRelief #SelfCareTools #MindBodyMedicine #IntegrativeMedicine #SelfCareRevolution
