Used the wrapped fiber rainbows to make door hangers for two little girls (from different families) who turned 1 this year! These little ones have all the toys and all the clothes, so I thought I’d make something that could become part of their homes instead.

All setup, a new place to create and focus inward. I am taking this upcoming winter season to reset and restart, and hopefully find a new pace that allows for both everyday responsibilities AND time for art and inward reflection. I hope these little photos will help keep me accountable and help reconnect with some fabulous markers out there! ✌🏻🧶🙏🏻

It felt like a good day to pull out a random craft box and get it done. And so a few hours later not only is it done, but it's up on the wall.

One last view of this sweet little corner before it gets a spooky makeover! Novas room is my favorite room to decorate for Halloween!😍

A year ago today, we learned our offer on our house was accepted.
We had just bought a 1977 fixer upper on the lot of our dreams.

We knew right away that the second floor would have to be completely gutted.
Original carpets everywhere, EVEN in the bathroom and so the reno plans started.

Here's a peek at Élo's completed nursery. Happy with how it came out and hoping she can grow into it with the years. Having a fun, colorful space for her to dream and imagine in was top priority! ✨🌿🏰🐉👸🏼

Aaaaand we're blocking✨ #daisyhood

First: if you haven't yet, go to last week's Ribbon Canyon Blanket post and enter my PATTERN GIVEAWAY!

I'm giving away 10 #ribboncandycrochet pattern books. I've been trying to grow this account to 10k followers and with less than 50 to go, the contest will end very soon. So hurry up and enter!

Winners announced after I hit 10k!

Second: my newest sample of Daisy Hood is finished and drying on Shirley, my mannequin. I made it with 4 colors of @capemayfiber and I'm using some mini @squishmallows to pop the daisy motifs out nicely.

I'm trying to have this pattern ready by next week. So if you can't wait...start picking colorways! Row 1 looks best made with a bulky and the rest of the rows are DK👍

Happy Wednesday,

-Ashley

When your new couch isn’t arriving until Wednesday, but you’ve already given away the old one…you end up on the floor with your iPad. So, nothing new. 🥴
