Just chillin 👥️ 1-6p 🎂 8+ 🕑 20min Pass as many chilies to other players🔥🔥 🌶 Each player start with three cards in their hand. On your turn you play 1 or 2 cards from your hand and whenever the played cards create a set of 4 cards with either the same color or the same number, the active player must take all of those cards. 🍴 The cards you collect count as negative points. Use special cards to avoid penalties and trap your opponents with unavoidable combinations. Special cards e.g the multicolor trash can discard all cards of one color. Or defend yourself with the fork card this allows you to pass the cards and fork card to the next player. 🌶 When the drawing deck is empty players take a final turn. Players with pickled chilies choose color columns in their scoring zone and assign their pickled chilies to them. A player with both pickled chilies may assign them both to the same color column or to different color columns. Calculate your total score from your Scoring Zone: +1 Point: Simple Chili, Fork, Pickled Chilies, Hot Sauce. +2 Points: Spicy Chili -10 Points: The player(s) with the fewest total cards in their Scoring Zone. -X Points: Color Majority: If you have the most cards of one color. The player with the lowest score wins the game. ✨️ A fast fun easy family game. There are not so many different type of cards so the replayability is less. #justchillin #mandoogames #chilipepper #boardgamer_anne #october

You know what old board gamers who’ve been in the hobby for too long are cursed with? The curse of wanting every expansion of their favorite games > bloating their game to the point of being unplayable for many members of their group. Vale of Eternity: THE CURSE EXPANSION - fortunately does not fall into that same cursed path 🙏 The first VoE expansion - artifact, took from some elements that may be familiar to engine building lovers: Res Arcana. With the ability to trade in round-to-round abilities. Separately, one might also find the ‘reservation’ mechanic intriguing but a little clunky in other regards 🦖 Happy to report that “Curse” feels much more streamlined! The key addition of asymmetrical player powers with “flip abilities” when certain conditions are met and triggered, feels natural. The more interesting addition, are the curse cards that give you a ‘timer’ on cards to be ‘exorcised’ naturally from your tableau, instead of a situation where you have to spend copious amounts of magic stones as the game ramps up in turns 6 to 8. 🎛️ I think the game does have that ‘typical’ issue of players having the ability to just run the engine off the base game itself — and often finding success through less hoops 🪤 to jump through… but action programming the curse cards in the right turn order can be really satisfying! In one of my playthroughs, I had a character that allowed me to gain powerful magic stones on off turns where i do not summon any cards, which feels like it’s subverting some of the game’s well-trodden rhythm in surprising ways. Highly recommend this expansion! Thanks to @mandoogames for always being a great partner of support to this Vale of Eternity addict 🪬

🧛‍♂️🩸 Blood Hunt 🩸🧛‍♂️ 🚨 Essen SPIEL-release van @mandoogames @mandoogames_en ➡️ NL 👥 2–4 players ⏳ ±30’ We’re big fans of Dracula vs Van Helsing, so we were really looking forward to this spin-off for up to 4 players! ⚰️ Gameplay Your card holder has a slot for each district on the coffin-shaped city board. Each turn, draw a card and either swap it with one in your holder or discard it directly. Trigger its effect, then place it at an open district. Once a district has 4 cards, everyone reveals their card for it. The strongest card picks a citizen token first, followed by the others in order. Your goal? Get the citizens you need while keeping your opponents from getting theirs! 💬 Our thoughts 🧛‍♂️ Blood Hunt is a different game, but retains some familiar elements from Dracula vs Van Helsing, like the districts and changing trump suit. It’s great to see these return in a game for up to 4 players! 👥 With 2 players, we slightly prefer Dracula vs Van Helsing, we love its asymmetrical roles. If you really like the mechanics we think both games are different enough to have both, even if you mostly play with 2! 🩸 We like the alternative win condition of collecting specific citizen sets. It gives everyone another reason to keep an eye on what the others are collecting! 😈 You want strong cards in the districts with the tokens you need, but opponents can swap citizens, turn them into vampires (bye-bye, sets!), move cards between districts, change the trump suit… Districts can close sooner than expected, so keep your options open! 🎨 Santiago Weberson’s @weberson83 art is again stunning! 📝 The card holders look the same, but are less practical. Cards slide out much more easily if you’re not careful. This is a bloody good spin-off, but don’t get too attached to your plans… your opponents might have other ideas! ❣️Find it at SPIEL Essen: Hall 6, 6B201 [Review copy] #bloodhunt #draculavsvanhelsing #mandoogames #spielessen #boardgamereview 🧛‍♂️🩸 Blood Hunt 🩸🧛‍♂️ 🚨 Essen SPIEL-release van @mandoogames @mandoogames_en 👥 2–4 spelers ⏳ ±30 min. 🇬🇧 Dracula vs Van Helsing is probably the MOST emotional little duel I know. The amount of tension that goes with this game can make any blood 🩸 boil! It always comes down to the last round and it is almost always a nail biting and intense tug of war! This time Dracula 🧛🏻‍♂️ won in the last round with just 1 life remaining 😤 Until next time, you fiend! I hope then it will be a straight stake to the heart! ⚠️These are real photos of our game, I just wanted a little bit enhancement for atmosphere. 🇵🇱 Dracula vs Van Helsing to prawdopodobnie NAJBARDZIEJ emocjonujący mały pojedynek, jaki znam. @mandoogames @wydawnictwo.muduko #spookymonth #spookygames #draculavsvanhelsing
