The BIGGEST THANKYOU to @flashblackonemedia @flashblackoneadelaide for being the true talented legend he is for our shoot today
.
It's the second time I've been in front of his lens and I ALWAYS love it
Actual, coolest human ever
.
I also hurt my back at the start of the week and still not out of pain completely (hence why in this clip I had to often move around between shoots) but as the true magician of the lens, we worked around my injury and captured some incredible art
.
And as always, this killer outfit is from the amazing @mandr_the_label
I always feel like such a queen in their clothes

Self-worth
It takes years to build, but only moments to shatter
.
Even the strongest among us can become the frog slowly being boiled alive
One compromise, one boundary crossed, one little piece of ourselves surrendered at a time.
.
Until one day, we realise we’ve been sitting in a pot we never should have been in
.
But here’s the beautiful part…
You can always get out
.
And when you do, you get to rebuild
.
Stronger
Wiser
More conscious
More protective of the person you’ve fought so hard to become
.
But rebuilding requires more than pointing the finger outward.
It requires the courage to look within and acknowledge the parts we played too
.
Not to shame ourselves.
Not to blame ourselves.
But to understand
.
Because the lesson isn’t truly learned if we keep repeating the same patterns with different people, different circumstances and different excuses
.
Take the lessons
Own your part
Raise your standards
Strengthen your boundaries

And make sure the version of you that climbs out of that pot never willingly climbs back in

Ive always chosen love over fear
Uncertainty over comfort
The unknown over the life I had outgrown
.
What no one sees is the build
The years I fell to my knees, worked multiple jobs, seven days a week, year after year, while raising kids, studying, surviving and rebuilding
.
The dark circles
The exhaustion
The moments the world told me I was crazy for believing there had to be something more
.
What they also don’t see are the traumas I’ve carried and overcome through every stage of my life
From childhood into adulthood
Pain that could have hardened me
Experiences that could have made me bitter, fearful or small
.
But I refused to use any of it as an excuse
.
I chose to keep my heart open
To love deeper
To rise louder
To take up space
To keep believing that my past could shape me without defining me
.
Some will call this stage luck
I call it 16 years of showing up for myself, relentlessly, even when I had every excuse to choose the easy road
.
Most often alone on my journey
Without a soul to lean on
Without an understanding ear and steady shoulder to balance on
.
The years when the world ridiculed me before working on yourself was 'cool'
But I stayed the course and never gave up
.
Every courageous step into the unknown has been met with a gift
Somehow, the Universe has had my back every single time I didn't let go of the rollercoaster when it was upside down
.
This chapter feels like a thank you from my ancestors, for every version of me who kept going when life gave her every reason not to
.
I am so fucking proud of the woman I’ve been, the woman I am and every past version of me who got me here
.
