Now that I have had some time to reflect on this past week. I can’t thank my amazing boyfriend enough for supporting me and coming with me on a work trip to Phoenix with a 5 month old. We had the best time! Celebrating my job, my birthday, and new family adventures was sooo special! To share with @volkkyle and our son was amazing! Ryder was the best traveler, arcade buddy, and top golf partner out there! Also wanted to say thank you to all of those who wished me a happy birthday it meant so much!! I love you all 🥰 can’t wait to see what 28 has in store for me 💙

“That radio dial stays on 95.3 'cause it's the only one around here that plays country” 📻 That’s a line from a Chase Rice song some years ago. I loved it from the very first time I heard it, because that rang true for me from my early childhood days. My radio was ALWAYS on 95.3 KRTY. So many competitor stations came in and out, but my nerdy little self stayed glued to 95.3 KRTY. And while today marks the first time in three decades that 95.3 FM in San Jose, CA is no longer playing country, I’m so thrilled they’re going to be able to keep the KRTY legacy alive through streaming.

I wrote & deleted a post all about what KRTY has meant in my life, but decided to save it for another day (today isn’t about me). For all of you who love KRTY and the team over there I really hope you know is how special this station is and how rare & unique their model is in this day & age. (You can read my novel over on Facebook that explains what I mean).

The team over there has worked so hard over the past three decades and have gone through so much change as technology & times have changed (which is only natural!). So while the switch from FM to streaming feels sad and different, I’m so proud of them for adapting and pivoting towards the future. I’m grateful & truly honored to have been a tiiiiiiny little part of the KRTY history books, when it’s been an incredibly large chapter of my life. ❤️📻💛 Make the switch now, San Jose - KRTY.com

Oh man the struggle of taking a good team pic!! Lolol Well AZ was not what we expected in outcome. Despite the tough conditions and the set backs along the way, this group played through it and worked together. Can’t win them all but can come back stronger in the next one!! Thank you to all the family and friends that helped us in this one! #jackedupsoftball #jackedupcoed #gilbertaz #cactusyards #usssaslowpitch #hotandhummid
