For the final Cowboy Carter show, Blue Ivy Carter wore a custom royal blue Eleven Sixteen look — a tribute to legacy, power, and the future of Black excellence and African Heritage.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for my legendary brother @tytryone for believing in me since I was 17 and giving me the opportunity to bring this vision to life. And @shaunross for being the ultimate connector — thank you both for your trust and energy.

To witness this all in real time sent chills down my spine. To see Black beauty, elegance, and wealth ascend those steps broadcasted to millions was a powerful reminder of how we define Black Dandyism. This year’s Met Gala theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” honored the craft, history and pride woven into every stitch. I’ll never forget this night & five years ago I couldn’t have imagined being surrounded by something SO AFFIRMING. So proud to see @christian.latchman_ walk those steps. And @tylersphotos , you being there meant the world to me & so many black queer boys around the world- so glad I got to say hi in that moment. 🙏🏽🪡🤎
