The National Brain Appeal’s annual art fundraiser ‘A Letter in Mind’ is back for 2024! And I was delighted to enter two pieces again this year in celebration of the theme “The Wonders of Colour”.  Most humans can see around one million different colours. The mechanics of how we perceive them is a wonder in itself; the eye and brain work together to translate light waves reflected off an object into a specific shade and tone. See if you can spot my two entries: Chris (Yellow) and Taylor (Red) - a departure from my acrylic submissions last year. Both sold! And it was a very special moment for me visiting the gallery with my family this weekend! Max loved picking all his favourite works.

The exhibition is a joyful, collaborative fundraiser that brings together artists, patients, clinicians, supporters and art lovers in a way that really does change lives.

All artworks are priced at £85 and sold via our online gallery. https://shop.nationalbrainappeal.org/collections/2024-the-wonder-of-colour The works remains anonymous until sold. All proceeds help to transform life for the millions of people affected by neurological and neuromuscular conditions in the UK..
Artists enter from across the UK and beyond, and include household names and professional artists.
Well-known contributors this year include: Orlanda Broom, Mark Dion, Polly Dunbar, Kevin Eldon, Mark Entwisle, James Fleet, Leigh Francis, Stephen Graham, Harry Hill, Frank Kiely, Anita Mangan, Ishbel Myerscough, Morag Myerscough, Chris Riddell, Dame Zandra Rhodes, Axel Scheffler, Indira Varma and Hannah Walters.

Go online and snap yourself up some art for you or a loved one! #aletterinmind #ALIM #aletterinmind2024 @brain_appeal #nationalbrainappeal #raredementiasupport #taylorswift #chrismartin @taylorswift @coldplay
