EPISODE 2: DMs to Opportunities - @sahhvz

A few weeks ago, I sent a DM asking if she’d ever be interested in doing a photoshoot.

Then somehow I was on a flight to Atlanta to make it happen.

I was originally supposed to fly home the next evening, but after watching the delays get worse and worse, I decided to try to get out as soon as I could. My flight went from delayed, to not delayed, to delayed by THREE HOURS anyway 😭

Still kind of crazy that one DM turned into me flying to another city for a shoot.

More of this, please.

These are 3 studios I’ve personally shot at and would 100% book again! 📷 (14/21)

The studio you choose can make SUCH a difference in how a shoot comes together. From the lighting to the props to the overall atmosphere, the right space can really bring the vision to life 🤭

Side note: every photographer behind these shoots absolutely ATEEEE. They're tagged so pleaseee go show some love ;))

What's your favorite part of a studio when booking: the backdrops, props, natural lighting, or overall aesthetic? 👀⬇️

a good client cam moment 🏆

client experience always comes first!
that’s the standard, no matter where the work takes me.

this one was shot in @manginstudios, atlanta! a spot i pre-planned before we even got there so @forever_mistah could just show up and be present. no second-guessing, no wasted time, just the work.

years into this now, still learning that the best sessions aren’t about my vision alone... they’re about making somebody feel comfortable enough to trust it.

if you’re trying to build something like this - link in bio.
