Life, most of the time, isn't like social media presents. 😂It's not all sunshine and rainbows.
When I started my business, I knew I'd have to face a few bumps in the road. But there were still many things I wasn't prepared for: feeling like you're walking through quicksand when your dreams seem like they're never going to come true, the loneliness in the dark, not knowing where to go, and maybe worst of all—the pain of having friends or family turn away.
It's hard not to feel totally beat up by the world in moments like that. It's easy to feel like everyone is against you and that your dream will never come true. But it will! It just takes time.
If you are also going through similar phases of life, I want to encourage you to keep going. You're not alone in this journey, and a breakthrough is just around the corner. And remember: take care of yourself! Love yourself, get good sleep, and take some time to rest if is needed. ❤️The best thing you can do for your business is making sure YOU are ok.

Wondering what to try and create tomorrow? Love the light in this space. I’m so used to photographing beautiful people. Now I have to photograph something else. Adam and I are looking forward to creating a new type of space for our clients that will give us the ability to create stunning campaigns. It will also serve as a beautiful penthouse space for events inside and out on the terrace overlooking the Manhattan skyline. A place to gather for social media influencers to create content, a place to pray, dance and worship, enjoy a big group meal or party on the terrace, and an educational space for workshops and private coaching.
Over the next month, I am going to take this time to create a new video series on the BUSINESS SIDE of photography.
Even though I am opening my new photo studio in the worst of times, I believe that it is going to be a beautiful thing that comes out of this. It’s been a long time in the making, and the space is so peaceful and special. I am looking forward to sharing it with you all soon.

I’m excited about spring time. Warm nights out on the terrace with good friends. Praying for the world and my city that the world finds a treatment soon from the coronavirus.
