When I was a kid, I always wished I’d grow up fast and become a hip-hop dancer. Then I’d sit and watch videos of these foreign dancers, seeing those girls dancing hip-hop, and I’d think, ugh, I wish I could be like that 😂

I never wanted to be the kind of girl who stays at her parents’ house, studies, helps her mom around the house, then goes to university, gets married, has kids, and then basically just continues the cycle… 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

Not that this lifestyle is bad! Not at all.
It just wasn’t the life I wanted.

I wanted a wild, challenging life.
I wanted to be both a “home girl” and work outside, study, grow, help my family, support others in my career, have fun with my friends, exercise, live independently, have a romantic relationship, maybe even migrate… all at the same time.

Believe it or not, I’m so happy that it turned out exactly the way I wanted.
Of course, I still have a lot of work to do to get better ✌🏾

I’ve built so much courage in myself that I create a new challenge every day, because I’m terrified of having a normal day — I honestly get bored.

These photos remind me of the past I always dreamed about 🤟🏾
