As sure as this light is shining in my face, I believe God even more. Sometimes, the favor of God is not fair and I'm a witness. When you're anointed the Favor glows down but you cannot always have eyes to see, it shows differently. It gives love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. I have 7 of those fruits down pact. Praying God's grace will take me there.

.... for the first time in a long time, I've felt a sense of purpose in Christ knowing that what I'm apart of is making a difference to at least one person's life. God's got it covered. Pastor Roderick Mills, First Lady Selena Mills and the Mills Family. It is indeed an honor to serve in the place where it all started for all of us. God has a way of making things happen. Have to keep working on building, brick by brick. I'm just glad to be in the service, one more time. The Calvary Baptist Church of Red Hook.

🙏🏽 Rev. Crayton & Jean Crayton would be so proud.

🕊️ Takenya Webb-Lawrence aka @dapartydiva This is the woman who God used that made me come to church when with her when I was 16yrs old because she wanted to join the choir. I was too busy chasing after her 🤣. My behind followed and got stuck playing drums to learning music to loving God right along with her. 🥹 As kids we learned life lessons together for a short amount of time. You never know who God has for you and what your future is. I would always tell her, thank you for being the vessel God used for me. She would just smile and say you're welcome. Even as a teenager, all she wanted to do was be loving, have a family and escape the clutches of the Crack Cocaine & Heroine infested projects we grew up in, like we all did. She taught me to love a person unconditionally... Lavette will never be forgotten. Rest easy Sis. You'll always be remembered and forever left in our hearts. Such a Joyful soul and life changing spirit. When she was in the room, it was never a dull moment. 🙏🏽💔🕊️ I'm praying for your daughters, your close loved ones, your Sister, your Mother, cousins, aunts and uncles. You were definitely special to many who came in contact with you. 😢

💔 - I cannot stand it when it's too many deaths that are going on and BOOM... then it hits home. Like right in your chest. Takenya Webb affectionately known as Lavette in Red Hook Projects passed away. I pray God kept her close. I'm praying for her daughters and close loved ones. She was a highly spirited woman who just wanted to love everyone and make sure everyone was good. "The Party Diva" @dapartydiva

I keep forgetting that I'm not a little kid anymore. Time has been good to me and some of us are still learning and young at heart but sometimes Father Time creeps up and puts a whoopin on us. Stay grounded. Stay prayerful family. You never know when it's your turn. Damn... this one hits super hard. IYKYK 😢🙏🏽🕊️

🤲🏽 We have always been labeled "The Son's of Calvary" under Pastor Arthur Crayton. This thing is heavy. This is what I'm wrestling with in my spirit because I know God. The power of choice can drive you up a wall. God knows you only have one time to get it right when making the right choice. I do know God more today than I did yesterday and I believe God with all my might. Through every test and trial. Tribulation and affirmation, God knows your inner most desires and weaknesses at the same time. Even when you don't want to, you have to. Therefore when it's time, he presents two clear paths: obedience and the life/blessings that come with it, versus disobedience and the resulting death/curses.

From the text: Deuteronomy 30:11-19 (The Choice/Offer of Life or Death) - [Read it]

Sometimes we have to fight the Devil right where he attacks because he will make you believe you're crazy and wrong for doing the right thing.

I believe God for my two brothers @manifesterthoughts888 & #RevRoderickMills #RoderickMills in this picture. I believe God for us all to do the right thing and that's believe God and God only. We all have our own paths to follow BUT God has a way where you can't go over, under or around it. I'm believing and trusting God he will make a way somehow. 🙏🏽

🕊️💔 You know life is crazy! While we were shooting @the_red_hook_series_ in Red Hook, I ran into Wok! He told me he was proud of what we were doing. I told him get in, pull up and act... he laughed and said "Naaaaah D. I'm good". And smiled and walked off. Casually as always. 🫡 Red Hook lost a soldier, a good heart & beautiful person in him. I don't have to say too much. Love you Wok! Sleep in Peace my brother. 💔💔💔💔🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🪝🪝🪝🪝💐💐💐💐🪦

📜 Luke 9:23 (KJV) states: "And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." It is a call to total discipleship, demanding daily surrender of selfish desires, willingness to suffer in and for Christ, and active obedience to His teachings. It's a life that mirrors our Savior.

🙏🏽🤲🏽 Join us as my brother John @shiloomedia and I have an in depth conversation with our family @darryllhill - @pastordw3 @jasonhendrickson @eyoungtv - @drkevinbond and @shereecthomas as we directly dive into the origins of this amazing
Docu-Series we simply entitled "Pursuing Christ's Path". Coming Soon March 2026.

My Brother @shiloomedia and I have been apart of a lot of projects. This one here, for me, is probably one of my proudest by far because of the truth and core teachings that it holds. It's totally about Obedience, Love & Sacrifice. 🤲🏽

If you know me, you know that I love God. You would know that my conversations usually partake in an invitation to the body of Christ. No matter where I am or how far I've gone. Since I was 17-18 yrs old, I found the truth about Jesus Christ and his path for us. My road in life bought me from being a musician (Drummer & Organist) in Brooklyn, New York's Red Hook Projects with the teachings of the late, great visionary Rev. Arthur Crayton to other statesmen and countrymen. I'm not a pulpit preacher BUT this is my way of life ministry. Through the arts 🎭 as best I can.

A few Texts to study: Luke 9:23-24 - Mathew 6:33 - Matthew 4:19 - Matthew 16:24 - Hebrews 12:2
and Colossians 3:1-2
