Sept. 2026’s Subtle Radio episode is an ambient set from myself, recorded last month in Big Bear for the first Forest Floor (@forest_f1oor) gathering.

Ambient music has been a very cherished genre / musical style of mine for years, and seeing friends reciprocate that feeling was wonderful to witness. Maybe it was the mountainous environment, or being in good company who were open to hearing leftfield selections, (or getting awakened at 4 AM to do these ambient sets in the first place), but something about what I played definitely heightened the atmosphere in some transcendent manner.

This set was recorded around Friday afternoon,a sort of initial prelude-slash-practice-run when things were getting started, and before more and more people arrived to camp over the weekend. Thanks to Ian @mont_buran for organizing this event, and everyone who’s said some nice words about my sets.

My DIY zine workshop last weekend at Art in the Park went so awesome 😭😻 So thankful for everyone who participated!!!!
Just wow!!! Everybody did so excellent, I am still so proud :')
I filmed as many of the finished zines as I could and there was so many more! 👏 👏 👏
I will be releasing my zine inspired by @lionsdencommunityart online very soon, It's my first completed zine & I gave away about 30 copies at the park! I've been inspired lately by some friends who make zines , two of which were on the lineup this month! I love that I got to share their zines at the park too and it fills my heart with joy that so many people joined in and are also finding the joy of zines with me!!! 💘
