African Americans. Africans on the continent. Caribbeans. Afro-Latinos. We may have different languages, cultures, and experiences, but our roots tell a story that connects us all.

The question is: Will we continue to let history divide us, or will we use that history to understand one another?

👑 KING & QUEEN OF CHICAGO 👑

A HUGE THANK YOU to every athlete who competed, everyone who came out to support, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this event happen.

This wasn’t just about competition. It was about bringing people together, pushing each other, creating memories, and continuing to build something bigger for the community.

Congratulations to our King & Queen 👑🏆 — you earned it.

And to everyone who showed love: WE APPRECIATE YOU.

This is only the beginning. 🖤

📸 Community, connection, and good energy all in one frame.

West Side Wellness brought people together from across the community to connect, support one another, and celebrate the power of healing, culture, and togetherness. Moments like this show what the event was really about: building relationships, creating positive memories, and strengthening the community one connection at a time. 💙

One Community. One Voice. One Vision.
Healing. Culture. Community.

Making waves naturally @groundwaveshiphop

First off just grateful to God for placing me in this moment of matter. For it is the light of sight that shines brightest in spirit of sincerity with WE.

So much gratitude to all the artists who have been putting In The effort to be apart of something so much greater than self.

I definitely missed out on few couple of conversations from legends like @iamaprilwalker @rapsody @stylesp @djpremier but it was so dope hearing about them from my friends when sharing about how much we actually have to walk away with from this conference.

Thanks to the entire @groundwaveshiphop team and @murs316 for following your purpose as it evolves and including the greater hip hop community in your vision.

Big thanks to @datboysaid and @brotheraliisblind for holding court with two different types of classes and teaching in such beautiful ways. What a true blessing it was man, I cried opening up to Ali about why art in Hip hop is so important to me. I had no idea our childhoods had so many similarities. Shout out to the false security of “whiteness” to really show what real security looks like. God makes no mistakes but man I wish I would have met Ali 15 years ago cuzz he just impacted my life profoundly. I will forever be a master of ceremonies and finding ways to share my mission that Christos is for everyone.

Big love to @teacha_krsone for making such inspiring music that we can all lean on and learn from. You are still my favorite EMCEE but it’s no surprise you Ali’s favorite too.

Much love to all the homies and new people I was able to meet and converse with.

Big love 📸 @roobswampthang thanks for the flick and just being your damn self man.

So happy to get to know friends like @devonnethedon better and have some real exchanges.

Met so many dope new ppl but I had to mention @tylomay and @madameleaves thanks for teleporting me during your sets at the open mic!!! Beautiful spirits all around.

Sincerely wit Gratitude and discipline,

The Journey so far has been HECTIC, but every now and then I actually get to look at how far I’ve gotten. I try not to think about the work I’ve done out of fear I’ll end up complacent or talking about the “lil work” I’ve done without creating anything new. The older I get and the longer I stay on this path I realize how full of shit that actually is😂. Allat said if you have ever included me in your vision, copped beats from me, invited me to sessions, pulled up to my sessions, invested in me etc… THANK YOU! Shout out @studioshapeschi and @renzell.wav for the freedom to lock in and get better everyday (if you know me you know I be LOCKED IN)
