On the hunt to find Londons best sandwich … Back @sonshackney a year on from our first visit and yeah… they’ve properly stepped it up. 🏆

What was already a solid spot has turned into a real little community staple. You can tell they’ve put the work in — better ingredients, tighter menu, and they’ve seriously refined their toastie game.

This time we went for:
• The lamb meatball special with mint sauce & cheese — big flavours, properly messy in a good way
• Beef brisket £11 — easily the standout, rich, tender, just nailed it
• Cheese & spring onion £8 — simple but done exactly how it should be

No overthinking it here, just really well-made sarnies done right. 🥪 🔥

Perfect when the sun’s out too — lowkey one of those spots you can just chill at, away from the Hackney chaos, with a brew and a serious toastie.

100% TDS approved ✔️

Big up Barney for the hospitality 😎
