✨🌟 New Opera World Premiere
Join in as we delve into a contemporary rendition of the classic fairy tale „Mother Holly“ by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm written by Manfred Weiß. In „Bad Luck, Marie!“, contemporary music composer Jens Joneleit explores the contrasting lives of two sisters: Mary, the loving and helpful one, and Marie, the spiteful and selfish sister whose endless desires lead their family into a financial struggle.💔💰
.
As Mary seeks to lend a helping hand during difficult times, her sister Marie understands that collaboration is the only way to a happy life. This production raises important questions about happiness, misfortune, and the impact of consumerism and social media in our lives today. 📱✨
.
Under the direction of Benedikt Arnold, this opera promises to be a whirlwind of humor, excitement, and music, making it a perfect outing for audiences of all ages! 🎶❤️
.
Don’t miss your chance to witness this captivating tale come to life on stage at Semper Zwei of the Semperoper Dresden. Mark your calendar and join us for the world premiere which offers an experience that intertwines classic storytelling with modern themes! 🎭✨

SHAKE YA TAILFEATHERS!! ✨ It’s “Blues Brothers 2024” premiere night! 🤘🏻

What a ride! Learned a whole show in just 2 weeks, I also learned to play something close to a blues shuffle on the harmonica 😅🙌🏻 PLUS I got to know a lovely bunch of people, that I get to perform with for a good week from today! It’s fast, it’s sweaty, it’s fun ♥️
Let’s GO !
