The dapper gentleman @mannysandoval16 stepped into the barbershop with full trust in my hands. As an actor, he needs to look both fresh and elegant, so I decided to craft a classic pompadour using only scissors.
Here’s how we achieved this timeless look:
1️⃣ Draped the cape and wetted his hair.
2️⃣ Sectioned the hair horizontally to separate sides from the top.
3️⃣ Sculpted a round shape on the sides, pulling hair parallel to the head.
4️⃣ Created a progression shape on top, shorter at the back, longer in front.
5️⃣ Blow-dried the hair back, adding volume to the front. Remember, keep the dryer moving to protect the scalp!
6️⃣ Blended with shears for a smooth transition.
7️⃣ Used slicing and point-cutting techniques to add texture.
8️⃣ Groomed with matte clay for a natural finish.
9️⃣ Combed through with an Afro pick for smooth texture and volume up front.
🔟 Admired the final result. Mission accomplished!

Dato curioso: la última foto fue hace 13 años, mi primera foto en mi primer día de rodaje (aún recuerdo los nervios, la emoción y la ansiedad) pero mi cara lo dijo todo. Mi amor genuino por esta profesión, sigue intacto.
