Daaaamn… And just like dat, summer came and went! Quite the roller coaster, with its ups, downs, and round and rounds, but ultimately it’s been a great season. Full of smiles, laughs, hugs, daps, meeting new friends, seeing old homies, tried some new/different thangs, spent time with family, some things I wasn’t in person to witness/capture, but fortunate to share in the joy of some BIG time events of loved ones (Momz 63rd bday, @my.iam gave birth to my new nephew, @acrys420 had a baby boy, @drewchainz603 & @delcarmensf got engaged, @zainabalisyed got married, my brothers Trent and @_zayspeaks met for the first time, and more!!) 🤩🙌🏽

As you may know, I was in FL for the majority of the summer. Went to Tampa for @ambi_jay bday and Trevon & @my.iam baby shower. Then home to SoFlo to kick it wit momz and Jearv for a week. Some thangs went down wit momz health, so a week turned into 2 months. As you can see, it wasn’t all bad. Found a little time to get away and happened to see some good, throwback homies each time! (Thanks, @moore357justin!) Picked up a new book, The Noticer, which has truly helped me gain perspective on life and try to focus more on what really matters. (Thanks, @vbaby623!) Went to a few restaurants/places and had a few experiences that reminded me of my time in Trinidad 🇹🇹 (gotta go baaack!!) Gave my lil cuz and brother a few haircuts. And overall just tried to make the best of this time with them.

Came back to Cali, hung out a lil bit, started gettin thangs together, and making plans to head back to South Florida after being here 10 years. Who knew that a visit 10yrs ago would turn into dis… 🤯🥹 @artesano_sf ➡️ @ava55ninth_sf ➡️ @kiva.org …all presented growth opportunities and life-changing experiences for me out here and I’m super grateful for errbody I’ve ever worked with, met through friends of friends, other activities, whatever, however, and whoever. It wasn’t coincidence. We met exactly how and when we were supposed to, and hopefully we became better in some way from it. ✨Nothin in life is permanent, so we’ll just have to see what happens next.

So as the summer ends, so does my time in the Bay.✌🏽😌✌🏽
