Founded in Stockholm, Sweden during the latter half of the 1980s, Art Fact released three cassettes during their short lifespan. The tracks were lost in time until new interest in minimal wave music revived them, and new fans have found timeless music and lyrics in the bands’ output from almost 40 years ago.
Art Fact made three cassettes: “In Fact”, “Nowadays” and “The Nuclear Princess” between 1988 and 1993. A completely electronic affair, the band moved from upbeat synth pop to more angst-ridden and dark themes as the band and its members progressed.
In 2026, the band return to stage after more than a decade’s silence, to celebrate the release of new remixes of classic Art Fact tracks. In a live set combining original versions with remixed versions, Art Fact invites old and new fans to celebrate electronic music and synth pop everywhere.
