Took the day off & drove to Utah to find fall foliage. We took a detour and did a short hike (1 mile) in Kolob Canyon before heading up to Cedar City. Nothing prepares you for seeing this in person. It was absolutely beautiful! Pictures can't capture the beauty! This is less than 3 hours from Las Vegas so keep that in mind when you travel. #beautyallaround #justlookup #fallfoliage #desertlife

Momma… today marks 13 years that your body has been gone from this earth. But, your spirit still burns within me and echos throughout my life daily! So much has changed since you took your last breath 🥹 I’m a father now.. but you already knew that.. your grandson is the light of my life and I thank the creator for blessing his mother & I with this beautiful boy everyday. I pray to instill so much of what you gave me into him & I ask Allah for wisdom & guidance each day to do so. We’ve lost more family along the way and we’ve gained others who have added more branches to our family tree as well. Peace & blessings to ALL of the ancestors and may you and each & every one of you up there continue to walk with us 🙏🏾 I love you Laura Lee.

Visited Zion National Park this weekend to see fall colors in the trees. We were too soon as you can see. We saw a few yellows but nothing more. The weather was warm and we finished our hike by walking across the Virgin River.
