RAC’s first field trip of the year to @bluehillstrailsidemuseum where they house animals that can no longer be released into the wild. RAC got to do some firsthand research for an upcoming project they’re working on! Huge thank you to the lovely, educational staff at the museum, and to the incredibly talented @manuelagzm for her work in creating a zine for the teens :)

We are thinking about desire and seeking, about the motions of attraction and repulsion concomitant with each prolonged wanting. We abjure inertia, its austerity. Instead we reach up and forward and back, and then grasp. Around us we locate fixations: The electric-eyed strangers we jostle in the streets; the touch of grass on our bare shins; the phone we try not to prod, protruding malicious from the table. Objects abound. They might just be extensions of our gaze, but at least they grow warm in our hands. In THE VALENCE ISSUE, you can find:

+ Writings on Anxious Artworks
+ Poetic Variations on the theme of Cycles
+ Harm Reduction in Woonsocket, RI

and so much more….

Out now in Print and on our website!
