Happy 37th Birthday to former West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko! 🎂🇺🇦⚒️

The Ukrainian spent four years in East London between 2018 and 2022, producing some unforgettable moments in Claret and Blue, including his debut double against Everton, that dramatic last-minute winner against Chelsea in 2020 and his brilliant strike against Manchester United! ⚽🔥

But perhaps his two most memorable moments came in March 2022, when he scored an emotional goal against Aston Villa following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, before netting the extra-time winner against Sevilla just four days later to send West Ham into the Europa League quarter-finals! 🥹❤️

Injuries may have prevented Yarmolenko from consistently showing his best form at West Ham, but those iconic European nights and that wand of a left foot will certainly never be forgotten!

Happy Birthday, Yarmo! 🇺🇦⚒️

ON THIS DAY IN 2020: ONE OF THE GREATEST COMEBACKS IN WEST HAM HISTORY! MANUEL LANZINI’S LAST-GASP SCREAMER COMPLETED AN UNBELIEVABLE 3-3 DRAW AGAINST TOTTENHAM! 🤯🔥⚒️

West Ham were 3-0 down after just SIXTEEN minutes, with Harry Kane scoring twice and Son Heung-min also finding the net. With ten minutes remaining, Spurs still held a three-goal lead and looked certain to take all three points.

Then came one of the most ridiculous endings to a London derby imaginable...

⚽ 82’ — Fabián Balbuena pulls one back
⚽ 85’ — Davinson Sánchez turns Coufal’s cross into his own net
🚀 90+4’ — MANUEL LANZINI ABSOLUTELY THUNDERBOLTS ONE INTO THE TOP CORNER!

From 3-0 down to 3-3 in the space of TWELVE minutes, with Lanzini sending the West Ham bench into absolute delirium!

The Hammers became the FIRST team in Premier League history to avoid defeat after trailing by three or more goals as late as the 81st minute! 🏆

The celebrations. The commentary. That ridiculous strike from Lanzini. Six years later and it STILL gives you goosebumps! 😭❤️⚒️

WHAT A MOMENT. WHAT A GOAL. WHAT A COMEBACK!
